SPARTA PRAGUE FOUNDATION

Sparta Prague is amongst the oldest and most popular sports clubs in the country, with a number of fans not only in Prague but throughout the whole of the Czech Republic. Sparta Prague is much more than just a professional sports and football club that plays its matches at the Generali Arena. We are a part of the community and we want to give back to the community.

Our social activities consist out of three main programmes:

AC Sparta Prague Foundation
The Sparta Prague Foundation is founded in 2013, in the year of the club’s 120th anniversary. The Foundation’s goal is to support fund related community projects in our region. Furthermore, the foundation supports former Sparta players, who found themselves in a difficult life or health situation.

Children homes support
Sparta has been supporting children homes all over Czech Republic. They visit the stadium for matches and stadium tours on a regular basis. Furthermore, the club organises regular competitions for them, aiming to raise awareness and get donations for the cause. The support is also a part of the Czech FA’s Green Life project.

Supporting the right way
‘Supporting the right way’ is the club’s initiative aiming to promote supporting in a polite way, without abuses and other misbehaving, that could spoil the stadium experience for other fans, players and the public. Its goal is to promote polite support without flares and abuses, and to raise the youngest supporters as fans with respect and responsibility. In 2011, the initiative was awarded the European Crime Prevention Award.
