Vitesse – Vitesse Hattrick
This week, Vitesse is celebrating the 2018 #Morethanfootball Action Week by showcasing one of their programmes for youth development: Vitesse Hattrick.
Vitesse Hattrick is the umbrella name for three projects that are connected: the School, League and Academy. With Hattrick children and young people will play football together with their friends and peers. In addition, children and their teams will participate in different football activities in their neighborhood. For young adults, they will be supported in the field of study and work. The five neighborhoods in which the activities take place are: Geitenkamp-Monnikenhuizen, Klarendal-st. Marten, Malburgen-Immerloo, Arnhem-center and Presikhaaf.
Background
The Vitesse Street Hattrick originated from a joint wish of Sportbedrijf Arnhem (affiliated with the municipality of Arnhem), Rijnstad and Vitesse Betrokken in linking the social sports activities even more. The Vitesse Street Hattrick is a unique concept that is carried out by the three parties. These parties are supported by the social partners of Vitesse Betrokken: Kuijpers Installaties, Menzis and the Arnhem Housing Foundation.
