Shakhtar participates in #Morethanfootball Action Week
FC Shakhtar announces their participation in the #Morethanfootball Action Week on their website.

European football clubs, leagues and associations join efforts within the #Morethanfootball Action Week.
The campaign with such a name was launched by the European Football for Development Network with the support of the Uefa Foundation for Children, European Club Association, International Federation of Professional Footballers, Football Club Social Alliance, as well as a number of teams and leagues. #Morethanfootball Action Week will take place from March 30 to April 9.
FC Shakhtar join the program, support social initiatives and develop their own Come on, Let’s play! project, which fosters grassroots football in Ukraine and gives children the opportunity to play sports absolutely free of charge.
#Morethanfootball Action Week aims to provide the European football community with the opportunity of telling the fans about their social responsibility programs as part of the entire campaign. Participants will support the initiative courtesy of banners at home matches, publications in the mass media and social networks with the #Morethanfootball hashtag.
Social responsibility assumes a key role in European football. For clubs, it is a tool allowing them to demonstrate their commitment to society and fans, to maintain good public relations, and to develop brand loyalty and competitive edge.
#Morethanfootball Action Week participants share initiatives that present crucial values to children, offer them the opportunity to keep a healthy lifestyle and engage in sports and education.
The project is supported by many European clubs: Inter, Milan, Bayer, Werder, Wolfsburg, PSG, Reading, PSV Eindhoven, Vitesse, Brugge, Gent, Galatasaray, Ludogorets, Red Bull Salzburg, AEK, Legia, Strømsgodset and others.
