Rangers Charity Foundation Set to Launch Ready4Employment Programme
The Rangers Charity Foundation is participating in the #Morethanfootball campaign and they have announced that they will be launching a new employability programme later this month, which aims to improve job prospects for people who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Residents of Govan, a neighbourhood in Glasgow, aged 18-24 will be offered support with employment and future opportunities, while at the same time enhance their qualifications, confidence and self-esteem. The initiative is designed to address the challenges these people are facing because of the pandemic, like mental health problems.

- Health Benefits of Exercise, Diet and Nutrition
- Mental Health First Aid Training
- Skills Experience Identification
- Physical Activities and Coaching Sessions
- Stewarding Training
- Retail Training
- First Aid Training Certification
- SQA Unit in Employability
- Presentation and IT Skills
- One-to-One Interviews, Support and Action Plan
- Govan Job Match Coordinator Employment Session
- CV Building
- 6 Week Aftercare Support
- Lunches Provided
With the support of the Scottish Government’s Supporting Communities Fund, this programme will run for three weeks, beginning on the 21st of September.
