Panathinaikos FC participates in #Morethanfootball Action Week
The Greek Football Club Panathinaikos FC joins #Morethanfootball Action Week. Since 1908 Panathinaikos has been at the forefront of society and community with the vision to promote equality through football, to educate & motivate the young generation and to bring out the original idea of football as a social ceremony (soccer).
Within this context, the club participates in #Morethanfootball Action Week with the following activities:
- From 31st of March until 2nd of April, “UNITE THE MALL”
The club supports the philanthropic event “UNITE THE MALL” organized by the non- profit organization, Eleven Campaign (elevencampaign.org) promoting the message of UNITY via:
- a) Donating PANATHINAIKOS FC official jerseys and club’s merchandise for charity auctions

- c) Participating in the event with a delegation of athletes from PANATHINAIKOS FC Academy.
- At the 6th of April, MATCHDAY “OPEN ACCESS STAND”
During its home game against PANIONIOS FC, PANATHINAIKOS FC will provide free access to 2OO adults and minor refugees and will welcome them through promoting the message of SOCIAL INCLUSION.
All events under the umbrella #Morethanfootball Action Week will be promoted through PANATHINAIKOS FC’s channels with dedicated content on our website & social media as well as in “Apostolos Nikolaidis” Stadium with announcements and LED panel graphics.
