More #Morethanfootball participants confirmed
We are happy to announce that already more than 20 clubs and organisations have officially confirmed their participation in the 2018 #Morethanfootball Action Weeks to showcase the life-changing power of football.
Along with the first 5 clubs that we have already revealed, 17 more clubs and organisations from across Europe have signed up for this event. The participants come from 11 different countries in Europe, spreading from England, Spain to Cyprus and Macedonia. Juventus, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), Feyenoord Rotterdam, Athletic Club Bilbao and European Healthy Stadia are only a few notable participants. We are very proud to see a wide variety of clubs and organisations showing their interest in highlighting their community work and showcasing the social power of football. We hope that in the upcoming days we will be able to confirm an even greater participation in the event which promises to constituted of three fantastic weeks.

The Date
This year’s #Morethanfootball Action Weeks will take place from 21st March to 8th April and we are very excited to host such an event. We strongly believe that football is much more than just a game and we would like to invite all European clubs, foundations, community trusts, players, Leagues and Football Associations to participate in our unique European-wide movement. We are excited to welcome all of the organisations that have the desire to go the extra mile and impact the society in a positive way. The start of the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks event is part of the launching of the 10th EFDN Anniversary Conference.
The Launch
The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks will be launched on 21st March at the 10th Anniversary EFDN Conference in Paris. The unique event will present numerous best practice programmes from clubs and organisations like Real Madrid, Chelsea FC, Paris Saint Germain, FIFA, Premier League, KNVB, and many others. Besides the football clubs and organisations, the 10th EFDN Anniversary Conference will be accompanied by guest speakers from the corporate world who are related to CSR and would like to share their thoughts on social responsibility and sustainability.
