#Morethanfootball Action Weeks start today!
Today, March 17th, #Morethanfootball Action Weeks start and will run till 13.04.2023 encouraging the participants to showcase their CSR/ESG related activities they organise in their communities.
The #Morethanfootball Action Weeks is a global campaign for the European football community to showcase the impact of their community and social responsibility activities and programmes. Initiated by the European Football for Development Network, the campaign provides the wider European football family with a platform to inform and engage with fans and stakeholders on their Community and Social Responsibility activities and raise awareness of the transformative role European club football can play in changing peoples’ lives for the better.
During the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks, the participating organisations celebrate the work they do on and off the pitch on a local, national and international level through special match-day activities, digital campaigns and the use of more traditional media methods such as banners, billboards, posters and brochures. Create your own visual!
During the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks, the participants can take an opportunity to create their own visuals to celebrate the work they have done during the campaign within their organizations. You can easily create your #Morethanfootball visuals and banners for social media, websites and LED walls in the stadium. Be part of the #Morethanfootball campaign and start creating your own visuals for the social media channels here.
#Morethanfootball Scarves
In this year’s edition, we ask you to use your specially designed #Morethanfootball scarf. Your club scarf symbolises the support and pride fans feel for their club or country and now you can combine it with our #MorethanFootball message. Use the scarf in combination with your own club/league or FA’s branded scarf to show the world that you are #Morethanfootbal. Ask your players, staff, community programme participants and volunteers to make a photo or video with your club and the #Morethanfootball scarves and post them on your media channels with the #Morethanfootball. A fun idea would be perhaps to knot your scarves with befriended clubs to showcase you are together #Morethanfootball!

This year we welcome back MatchWornShirt as official digital fundraising partner of the #Morethanfootball Campaign.
