#Morethanfootball Action Weeks kick-off today
Clubs, leagues and FAs and their associated charities join forces to promote the social power of football. Today, 22nd of March, EFDN’s annual #Morethanfootball Action Weeks (22.03. – 18.04.2021) kick-off.
Football has always been much more than just a game. Unfortunately, people rarely see the stories of the excellent daily work being done through football organisations’ community and social development initiatives. Food distributions, phone calls and visits to socially isolated fans, online sport classes, fundraisers – football organisations have continued to demonstrate that they are #Morethanfootball throughout the last months. We are united in the goal to use the power of football for social development and positive change. Let’s demonstrate this online!

Bid on match worn shirts
EFDN has developed a professional fundraiser in partnership with MatchWornShirt including a free club-dedicated auction page, item collection, payment handling, promotional material and advertising on social media. In these distant times, fans can support their club, league or FA (foundation) by bidding on match worn shirts and additional exclusive items. The first auction is already online: Bid on Everton FC shirts from the FA Cup match Everton FC – Manchester City (0:2). All proceeds go to Everton in the Community.
