#Morethanfootball Action Weeks Highlights So Far
End of this week marks the halfway point of the #Morethanfootball action weeks. We would like to thank everyone who has participated in Europe’s biggest football campaign so far and ask them to remember the remaining action days. Don’t forget to work together with other organisations by tagging them and raising awareness and funds for your social projects. Let’s look at a few examples of those who have participated so far.
Remaining Campaign Schedule;
- 04.04.2023 – Action Day: Accessibility
- 06.04.2023 – International Day for Sport for Development and Peace
- 07.04.2023 – World Health Day
- 11.04.2023 – Action Day: Gender Equality
- 13.04.2023 – Action Day: Sustainability and Climate Change
If you haven’t joined this movement yet, don’t worry because it’s not too late, you can still show everyone that your organisation is #Morethanfootball before it’s too late.
Let’s take a look back at the past weeks and action days and see what happened.
#Morethanfootball Kick Off
Since #Morethanfootball was launched, over 50 organisations have shown their interest, we hope to see this number increase over the remainder of this movement and we invite every club, FA, league and organisation that has not yet participated and would like to do so to join us and show everyone that their organisation is #Morethanfootball
Free Fundraiser with MatchWornShirt
This year we welcome back MatchWornShirt as official digital fundraising partner of the #Morethanfootball Campaign. MatchWornShirt is an expert in hosting shirt auctions for football clubs and foundations all over the world.
All participating clubs do not have to pay any setup fee and benefit from the full service including a free dedicated auction page, shirt collection, payment handling, promotional material, and advertising on social media. You only need to select one or more dedicated matches, collect the shirts of the full matchday squad (worn & issued) and have them signed. MatchWornShirt takes all work off your plate so foundations can focus on what really matters: their work in communities!
