#Morethanfootball Action Weeks Coming Up!
EFDN members, are you ready to show the world that you are #Morethanfootball? March is coming up, which means it’s time for our annual #Morethanfootball Action Weeks which will run from 17.03 till 13.04.2023! During the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks we ask you to create extra visibility for your ESG/CSR strategy and programmes and to show your solidarity on our #Morethanfootball platform! Work together with other organisations by tagging them and raise awareness and funds for your social projects.
This year the campaign will be even bigger in reach and number of participating organisations and also one with a bigger impact. For your foundation, for your club, league, Football Association, and most important: for your community. With all the wonderful initiatives enrolled in your communities, you help to create a better society.

Together with your fans we are going to show the world that football is really more than just a game! In a unique collaboration with MatchWornShirt we give you the opportunity to raise funds for your activities.
Free Fundraiser with MatchWornShirt
This year we welcome back MatchWornShirt as official digital fundraising partner of the #Morethanfootball Campaign. MatchWornShirt is an expert in hosting shirt auctions for football clubs and foundations all over the world. Having raised over 9.2 million euros for charities so far together with 270 partner clubs, a database of 80,000+ shirt collectors and an individual shirt record at €55,019 MatchWornShirt knows how to maximise fundraising potential.
All participating clubs do not have to pay any setup fee and benefit from the full service including a free dedicated auction page, shirt collection, payment handling, promotional material, and advertising on social media. You only need to select one or more dedicated matches, collect the shirts of the full matchday squad (worn & issued) and have them signed. MatchWornShirt takes all work off your plate so foundations can focus on what really matters: their work in communities!
We are #Morethanfootball Scarves
In this year’s edition, we ask you to use your specially designed #Morethanfootball scarf. Your club scarf symbolises the support and pride fans feel for their club or country and now you can combine it with our #MorethanFootball message. Use the scarf in combination with your own club/league or FA’s branded scarf to show the world that you are #Morethanfootbal. Ask your players, staff, community programme participants and volunteers to make a photo or video with your club and the #Morethanfootball scarves and post them on your media channels with the #Morethanfootball. A fun idea would be perhaps to knot your scarves with befriended clubs to showcase you are together #Morethanfootball!
We ask all EFDN Members to post a single campaign image or video on the 17th of March to announce the start of the #MoreThanFootball Action weeks. After that, you can share your own pictures proving that you are #Morethanfootball during the whole campaign.
