KAA Gent Foundation Competition
The CSR/ESG work of KAA Gent will be put in the spotlights this week. The KAA Gent-OH Leuven competition on Sunday 10 April will be the “KAA Gent Foundation Competition” in collaboration with vdk bank .
The KAA Gent Foundation uses football and KAA Gent as a means to make Ghent and the inhabitants of Ghent stronger. Through numerous social projects and activities, the organization works on resilience (physical and mental health), talent development (sports and personal), inclusion (everyone participates), social cohesion (everyone together) and diversity with equal opportunities (non-discrimination).
The KAA Gent Foundation is a unique collaboration between KAA Gent, the City of Ghent and the supporters of KAA Gent. Today, the KAA Gent Foundation is the largest social organization within Belgian professional football.
Competition of the KAA Gent Foundation
The KAA Gent-OH Leuven competition on Sunday 10 April will be dominated by the KAA Gent Foundation. Just like all Ghent football clubs and neighborhood football initiatives, participants of all social-sports activities of the KAA Gent Foundation will be present in the stands to shout our Buffalos to victory.
In the days before the competition, the projects and activities of the KAA Gent Foundation will be highlighted. After the competition, the competition shirts will be auctioned for the benefit of the KAA Gent Foundation.
More Than Football
The KAA Gent Foundation competition is also part of the European More Than Football Action Weeks. Between March 21 and April 14, more than 100 European clubs and foundations will present their activities.
