Istanbul Başakşehir sending the right message once again
After promoting its actions on the International Day of Forests, when the club made sure to raise awareness towards deforestation, the club continues to highlight the social power of football.
Last weekend, during Istanbul Başakşehir last home game against Yeni Malatyaspor, the club shared a message through the captain’s armband, and through the pitchside advertising boards: #Morethanfootball.
After their 3-1 win on the weekend, the club shared this tweet to show people that there is more than football than winning on the weekend, it is about winning outside of the pitch as well.
Istanbul Başakşehir has planned to reiterate this action for their next home game against Fenerbahçe SK on April 18th. Hopefully, the message will have even more exposure against the city rival.
