10 days left until the kick off of the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks (22.03. – 18.04.2021). Do you want to join the biggest campaign on Community and Social Responsibility in European football? EFDN, in partnership with UEFA Foundation for Children and ECA, is providing you with the perfect platform to showcase your social projects. We have gathered all information and resources below.
Registration & participation
Clubs, leagues, FAs and community organisations can showcase their CSR work in any way they wish and there are numerous ways to do this. Show us the positive impact of football in society, register here and join the team by using the hashtag.
You can also join our free #Morethanfootball fundraiser developed in partnership with MatchWornShirts until 15 March. Send an email to actionweek@morethanfootball.eu or fill in our form here.
Visuals, flyers and branded campaign material
A Media Kit can be downloaded for free from the #Morethanfootball website. The Media Kit includes the wordmark, label and website banner graphics in various formats such as PNG for use with Adobe Photoshop or EPS for use with Adobe Illustrator. You can download and print our new campaign flyer in different colours. Create your #Morethanfootball visuals for social media, events and matchdays with our new editor here on the website. Use our ‘Together we are #Morethanfootball’ visuals as a template for social media posts. Pick your colour and add your organisation logo.

Kick off
We will kick-off the campaign on the 22nd of March. Use our ‘Together we are #Morethanfootball’ visuals and other resources to communicate your participation and state why your organisation is #Morethanfootball.
#Morethanfootball Solidarity Chain
We want to demonstrate our solidarity and share the spirit of #Morethanfootball online. Side by side, we will make the longest human solidarity chain in European football starting on 24 March. The aim is to show the diversity of people involved in the numerous football for development projects across Europe. Share your photos and solidarity chains on your channels and send us the files via email to actionweek@morethanfootball.eu. Find a full step-by-step guide here.
Action Days
All participating organisations are invited to link their activities to the campaign schedule and Action Days. We invite you to organise (online) events and share dedicated content. See the full campaign schedule here.
Matchday events
Create branded banners, use our #Morethanfootball captain armbands or the files for the #Morethanfootbal LED boarding to raie awareness of your social projects.
Ambassadors
You can name your #Morethanfootball ambassadors that support the campaign and your social projects. We can create dedicated visuals for you and display them on our website. Please contact us via email at actionweek@morethanfootball.eu.
More than Football Award
The goal of the More than Football Award is to honour the best social initiatives in Europe delivered by a European club, league or FA by celebrating the work they do on and off-pitch on a local, national and international levels. The winner receives not only reputation but also a branded mini-pitch from our partner Musco Lighting. Promote your project during the Action Weeks and hand in your application form. You can receive the form after registering for the campaign or by sending a request to actionweek@morethanfootball.eu.
15th EFDN Conference
The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its second virtual conference from 13-14 April 2021. It was planned to host the conference as face-to-face event in Budapest but the ongoing restrictions on large gatherings and travels across Europe made the change necessary. EFDN Conferences are the largest gatherings of Community and Social Responsibility (CSR) experts in European professional football. Clubs leagues and FAs can register here.
