Club Brugge Scoring for Health Participants Sign Health Contract
Yesterday, Club Brugge mascot Bibi went to the Het Kleurenpalet school in Brugges to present the Scoring for Health campaign to young students and Club Brugge fans.
Scoring for Health is a new programme designed by EFDN to tackle the problem of childhood obesity which, as identified by the World Health Organisation, is still a critical issue throughout Europe today. With the underlying target of promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle amongst children, their families and wider communities across Europe, the programme supports the 3rd UN Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health and Well Being and is co-funded by the UEFA Foundation for Children.
Bibi presented the students participating in Club Brugge’s Scoring for Health initiatives with a “health contract” – under which they promise to complete all the activities and workshops offered by the programme, and maintain healthy nutritional habits and physical exercise.
Club Brugge has been an active member of EFDN and a vocal participant in this year’s #Morethanfootball Action Weeks. To learn more about the club’s support for their community, and other programmes being run by European football clubs, leagues and FAs to fight the most pressing social issues of our time, follow #Morethanfootball, EFDN and #ScoringforHealth.
